The State Key Laboratory for Metal Porous Materials is one of the first State Key Laboratory approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2007 to be built in China's transformation institutes and enterprises. Our company is one of the supporting units of the State Key Laboratory for Metal Porous Materials.
The laboratory is mainly dedicated to the research of metal fiber preparation technology, theoretical material properties and application theory of metal fiber porous material preparation. The research areas include:
Research on the Formation, Physical and Chemical Processes, and Interface Microstructure of Fiber Porous Structures
Heat transfer performance of metal fiber porous materials
Theoretical study on the preparation of sintered fiber porous surface materials and their enhanced heat transfer performance
Sound absorption performance of metal fiber porous materials
Preparation and performance research of metal fiber porous materials for sound absorption in harsh environments such as high temperature, high sound intensity, and underwater
High temperature gas purification of metal fiber porous materials
Research on fiber filtration materials and development of components for high-temperature gas purification
Mathematical analysis of pore structure
Using mathematical tools such as finite element, topology, and fractals to characterize and describe pore structures, thereby guiding material design optimization.
