Metal fiber media is made of metal fiber in micrometer through webbing, lapping, and high temperature sintering. Sintered metal fiber media which has pore diameter grades formed by layers of different pore size can achieve higher filtering accuracy and larger dirt holding capacity than single layer media. Metal fiber media has uniform pore size, high permeability and mechanical intension. Metal fiber media is not only resistant to corrosion and high temperature, but also can be welded, folded and reused. Metal fiber media is an ideal high efficient filter media suitable for working at high temperature and high pressure.

The application of Ni fiber felt in AEMWE's MEA improves electrical connections and liquid/gas transport, reducing interface contact resistance between the membrane and the catalyst coated substrate.
